Meet Eileen
Eileen might be a great fit if…
You’re a first-generation immigrant or minority looking to feel more confident and intentional with your finances
You're navigating financial decisions shaped by family responsibilities, cultural expectations, generational wealth.
You’re looking for tangible, actionable solutions to money management that help you define and create success on your own terms.
You’re drawn to working with someone who combines a background in finance, behavioral coaching, and clinical mental health.
“Rather than telling clients what they should do with their money, I help them understand their options, strengthen financial decision-making skills, and build habits that support the life they want to create.”
How we’ll work together…
My approach combines practical financial coaching with behavior-change strategies. Sessions may involve clarifying values and goals, reviewing priorities, identifying obstacles, developing realistic action steps, and co-creating systems that make financial decisions easier to follow over time.
My coaching style is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based methods including motivational interviewing, positive psychology, solution-focused techniques, and strength-based models of behavior change.
My work in this role is provided specifically as financial coaching. Although I am a licensed social worker, financial coaching is separate from my psychotherapy practice and does not include mental health assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.
My background…
I have an interdisciplinary background spanning finance, technology, and mental health. I began my career in financial accounting for several years and then spent more than a decade as a product designer across management consulting, technology, and healthcare. Over time, I became increasingly interested in how people make decisions, what shapes behavior, and why financial knowledge does not always translate into sustainable action. This interest ultimately led me to pursue further training in social work and behavioral health.
Outside of coaching, I’m an amateur rower and lifelong music lover. I took singing lessons for years and grew up playing persuasion, piano, and violin. I also love taking long sporadic walks in the park, reading ebooks, and listening to podcasts!
