Loren's approach to financial coaching bridges a familiar gap: the practical work of budgeting, saving, and building toward your goals, and the emotional patterns that often get in the way of doing it.

Meet Loren

Loren might be a great fit if…

  1. You're a single woman who manages everything on your own — in a world that still feels like it was built with two earners in mind.

  2. You're carrying debt, a spending habit, or a financial secret that you haven't told anyone — because the shame of it feels like too much.

  3. You've tried to engage with financial advice before, but it felt salesy, jargon-heavy, or like it was talking down to you — and you left feeling worse than when you started.

I want every one of my clients to have that moment where money stops feeling like a source of dread and starts feeling like it might actually take you somewhere.”

How we’ll work together…

My approach adapts to you, because no two clients (and no two financial situations) are exactly alike. The one constant is that I meet you where you are and stay with you as that changes. Before we get into the details, we start by looking at your full financial picture together — where you’ve been, and where you dream of going.

From there, we work on whatever is most present for you. Maybe that’s a specific challenge, a goal that feels out of reach, a pattern you can't quite break. My job is to help you take something that feels overwhelming and make it feel workable. Not by glossing over the hard parts, but by breaking them down until they're small enough to actually move through.

Think of it less like being given a generic financial plan, and more like having a partner to think it through with — someone who will sit with you in the complexity and help you find your way to the other side.

My background…

After studying film in college, and spending years working in coffee, I eventually found my way into the nonprofit sector. What those worlds have in common, besides passion, is scarcity. Financial stress is practically a rite of passage when you're building a life around creative or mission-driven work, and for a long time I just accepted that as part of the deal.

It wasn't until I went through financial coaching myself that something shifted. I started to see my own patterns differently — and I started noticing them everywhere around me. In my colleagues. In my friends. In people who were working so hard and still feeling like they couldn't get ahead. That's what brought me here.

These days I'm based in South Philadelphia, but I love to travel and will work from wherever I can! When I'm not coaching, you can find me playing viola with my band, watching films (these days I leave the making to others), or spending time with the people I love most.
