Nadine Zumot is somatic practitioner and behavioral finance coach. She draws on internal family systems and somatic experiencing to help people understand and change the emotional and behavioral patterns influencing their relationship with money and their broader lives.

Meet Nadine

Nadine might be a great fit if…

  1. You’re drawn to an approach that centers nervous system healing as the pathway to aligned finances.

  2. You understand what you “should” do but find that stress, emotions, or deeply ingrained patterns and beliefs make it difficult to follow through.

  3. You’ve become very good at surviving life, but want to experience more choice, ease, emotional resilience, self-trust, and enjoyment within it.

  4. Scarcity-based thinking, perfectionism, or burnout feel like they are defining your current money story.

“At the heart of my work is a simple belief: unwanted behaviors make more sense when we understand what they have been trying to accomplish for us.”

How we’ll work together…

My approach combines behavioral finance coaching with somatic, nervous-system-informed practices. Rather than focusing only on thoughts or behavior, I may invite a client to notice what is happening in their body as we explore a situation — for example, tension, activation, settling, an impulse to withdraw, or a sense of increased safety or capacity.

Within behavioral finance coaching, I explore the emotional, behavioral, relational, and contextual factors influencing financial decisions. This can include identifying triggers, recurring patterns, underlying beliefs, and the less-obvious benefits a behavior may be providing.

My overall approach is compassionate and experiential. Instead of treating an unwanted pattern as something to immediately eliminate, we become curious about why it developed, what function it currently serves, and how the client can gradually create different experiences and choices.

My work is coaching and psychoeducational in nature and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

My background…

I was born in Jordan and have since called Melbourne and New Mexico home, so I've spent a lot of time navigating what money, security, and success mean across very different cultures.

Music is a huge part of my life — I love Pearl Jam, Wu-Tang, anything with Layne Staley & Mark Lanegan — and I even met my husband at a metal show where the band Goatwhore was playing. I’m a belly dancer and breakdancer, and I speak Arabic, French, and English fluently.
